نیوزی لینڈ کے شہر کرائسٹ چرچ میں ہونے والے دہشتگردی کے واقعے پر بنگلہ دیشی کھلاڑیوں نے کہاہے کہ انہوں نے جو دیکھا وہ کسی فلم کا منظر لگتا تھا، 3 منٹ پہلے بھی مسجد پہنچے ہوتے تو بچ نکلنا ناممکن تھا۔میڈیارپورٹس کے مطابق بنگلہ دیشی کرکٹ ٹیم کے منیجر خالد مشہود نے کہا کہ کرائسٹ چرچ حملے کے وقت وہ اوراْن کے ساتھی کھلاڑی مسجد سے صرف 50 گز کے فاصلے پر تھے،اگر 3 منٹ پہلے بھی مسجد پہنچے ہوتے تواْن کا بچ نکلنا ناممکن تھا۔ معمولی سا فاصلہ اْن کی جان بچانے کا باعث بن گیا۔خالد مشہود نے کہا کہ انہوں نے جو دیکھا وہ کسی فلم کا منظر لگتا تھاجبکہ کچھ کھلاڑی وہ منظر دیکھ کر رو پڑے۔بنگلہ دیشی کرکٹ ٹیم کے منیجر خالد مشہود نے مزید کہا کہ ٹیم کے 17 افراد 8 سے 10 منٹ تک بس میں اپنا سر نیچے کیے بیٹھے رہے تاکہ کوئی گولی انہیں نہ لگ جائے۔پھر سب نے مل کر فیصلہ کیا کہ شوٹر انہیں نشانہ بنا سکتا ہے، بہتر ہے کہ یہاں سے بھاگ نکلیں۔کرکٹ بورڈ کے سربراہ نظم الحسن نے کہا کہ مسجد جاتے وقت بنگلہ دیشی ٹیم کے ساتھ کوئی سیکیورٹی اہلکار نہیں تھا۔
